Animals with Verbs! Partridge with ‘Race’.
So, Saturday nights I’ve been posting an extra blog post for the day, so I can count making a picture a day without it cutting into my Sundays. I also don’t put these up on social media so that I’m not obsessively checking social media all day long.
That day of rest is important, people.
However, here’s my problem: I have one more snail picture. And it’s really cute. I think it would make some people smile, so I’d like to share it on social media.
Which means waiting until Monday.
So, I think for the next few weeks I’ll share these partridge pictures for my Saturday night post.
A little history: I had been toying with the idea of a partridge in one of my stories, and started studying them, but in the end, the word, ‘partridge’ didn’t work with the cadence I was aiming for. It was good bird drawing practice though.
I love their little sweat bands…
