The SVS Prompt for September was Cloud. It was to be an ink drawing with a character and a cloud, that tells a story.
Some sketches:
Evil cloud conjuring wizard that imprisons his conjured clouds, and the little apprentice that frees them:
Sad people carrying around their own rainy clouds.
I wasn’t sure the sad people alone told enough of a story, so I added a happy guy flying off out of the gloom into the happy clear sky above:
Cloud sculptor. I like the idea of using rock sculpting tools to chisel out the fluffy clouds.
In the end, I was playing around with the perspective tool in procreate and these clouds started forming. So I went with the sculptor idea and popped him in there in front of the rays.
