Inktober Day 8: Throw
I completely ditched my original sketch. I didn’t want to do a baseball pitch type of throw. So I had a person throwing a ‘fit’. But I didn’t really love it. The concept wasn’t super clear without giving the ‘fit’ a name tag or something.
This morning I woke up with the idea of someone tossing or ‘throwing’ pizza dough, so I went with it.
I sketched up a sweet chef. But it seemed way too simple so I changed it into a dad and his kid making pizza:
Which is cute, but I really liked my simple chef.
So I brought him back:
Look, hands! With fingers!
I like the simple joy he has for his craft. I’m glad he came back.
