For those looking for extra, ‘outside the norm’ perler bead project ideas, I thought I should highlight a few of the cool things my kids came up with this week.
They made stands for their creations:
They made the coolest little puzzle boxes. The trick is to not melt the beads too much:

Minecraft items really lend themselves nicely to being recreated in perler bead form:

I call it: Zombie opening a present (cell phone!) and eating a cake.
I like my kids.
Perler Bead week has been way more fun than I was expecting. I mean, when the ‘Child Who Never Stops Moving’ sits down for HOURS to work on a project, you know there might be a bit of magic to it. Totally worth the clean up afterwards 😉
