Zounds! It feels like I’ve been hermiting. While this is my favourite state of being, there was a purpose to this hermiting (aside from regular happy re-energizing): I made a book!!!
In December I created a 12 days of Christmas style celebration of alpacas and fibre work, and posted the random cute pics.
But then I kept getting questions about when the book was coming out…
So I made a book!
Books are WAY more work than random instagram posts. There’s planning, story, art, formatting it all nicely, finding amazing editors, uploading PDFs, learning how to self publish, and then getting brave enough to hit the amazon publish button. Any one of those things could take months on their own.
But I did it!
And it’s sooooooo cute! If nothing else, my goal is to add more sweetness and silliness into this world. And I think this meets the mark.
One thing I did not do was to launch this book with big celebration and hoopla. I’m a quiet kind of person. A quiet release seemed fitting. However, if you happen to read this book and were up for adding an amazon rating and review, that would help battle the bots and convince amazon I’m a real person (and it helps other people find me too!).
