I was in cloud mode after SVS’s prompt, and the SCBWI Science Prompt came up. So I made a bunch of little cloud scientists using all the senses to research the flowers of a hilltop.
Yes random. But fun!
I tried black and white, but those flowers wanted colour.
In the end, this was the piece I finished with. Even though I like the minimalist colouring in the first one, my kids felt it should have more colour, so I went with this:
