First take: Remember, this is me deep diving into some background practice. I felt there was a lack of focus, and the hedgehog was a little…pink?
Second take: Shading around the edges to help focus on the action. And a bit of colour fun.
Then, just playing with tone, I tried a faded ‘extras’ version too (before the ladybug). This felt a little more picture book style, in one way, not so much painty-portrait. Less to focus on for little eyes?
