Altogether now!
I’m learning:
- My art tablet is much brighter than my laptop. I think my laptop is more accurate. I’ve started to adjust the light values when I go to export things. I tried just working in lighter colours, but that throws off what looks right to me. So I’ve given myself permission to not worry about it and just fix it after I’m done. Thus, this final image is brighter than the individual pictures because I adjusted it before submission.
- I look at his feet and cringe a little. I thought I was doing pretty good at Albert’s consistency, until I looked at his feet. Are they big or small? Both! Lol.
- I tried a pencil sketch texture over top. I like it. I’m sure I could refine my approach, but it gives me a rough, personable, home-made feel without being too ‘in-your-face’ about it.
