And for my favourite: The character!
Really, these character takes are what keeps theses studies fun. My brain switches from trying to carefully hone and craft the right lines, to turning on the fun switch and using that info to craft a little character. It makes me really want to suddenly be brilliant at composing pictures and backgrounds so I can stick these characters into a story.
I’ll get there.
But this year I’m giving myself permission to take it slow. Just work on the draw 50 things study. Then put them all in a scene —- or likely several scenes after all that work, lol. Hmmm, I actually have a story or two that take place completely in a garden.
Baby steps!
