Okay, part of our schooling this year involves a LOT of art. I figured with everything that’s going on, we need a HEAP of fun. This week, we’re focusing on chalk. And, because I’m working with kids, we’ll be aiming for big and silly, instead of delicate chalk pastel anatomy studies or something.
First off: Lines and Circles.
We started with simple line art:
“Kids, we are just doing lines. Any art made solely with lines.”
Hello potato.
…I have cheeky kids.
For additional cheeky kid evidence, see below, where we are just doing art with circles:
I was just going off of pinterest inspiration for chalk art ideas. But, since we were drawing circles, I had to bring out the bubbles:
And we discovered that bubbles are a lot more wonky and wobbly than I thought. They would not give me a perfectly round shape to take a picture of, next to our chalk circle bubbles.
Cheeky bubbles.
