Animals with Verbs! Snail with ‘Reflect’.
Okay, perhaps it is the cherry that is doing the actual verb.
But there is a snail.
So we’re good.
Um, I’m a weird person. I suspect the animals I find extremely cute might not work with everybody’s definition of cute.
But let me show you about snails.
I grew up on the wet West Coast. Snails were my friends.
Then we moved to the dry hot prairie. There are no snails here.
My kids have not known the joy of finding little playmates tucked under leaves. They haven’t marvelled at their beautiful shells. They haven’t fallen in love with those delightfully transformative faces.
I miss snails.
