I’m working on a sketchbook series I’m calling, Animals with Verbs.
Because I’m imaginative like that.
I think of a few verbs, pick an animal, and sketch it up doing those actions.
I’ve had ‘drive’ on my list for a little bit.
And I was ignoring it.
By the 4th pass, I figured maybe I could make the animals drive a scooter or something simple. Then I thought, no, wait, I got this. I’m in the middle of a vehicle design course. It’s a sketch, so honestly just mess it up and who cares. Get on with life.

It’s a car! By me! For fun!
I think it’s just about passable too. Some tweaks I’d like to make. And Santa Deer’s feet (featured as my ‘Sit’ verb) needs to scooch a bit off the hood.
I’m excited to take some classes at SVSlearn.com to figure out how to colour these sketches!
