For this art project I really wanted to try doing a layered scene. My first idea was of an ocean scene with sharks lurking in the background and underwater cliffs and seaweed and crabs and lots of other things.
But I’m doing perler beads with my kids.
So I simplified.
Fish bowl!
The layers are subtle, but they’re there:
I used a glue gun to help solidify it at the base and to stick the clear spacer beads together at the top. I could have ironed it, but I like my fingers too much.
And, of course, I had to make a video…
I think I’m starting to enjoy these perler bead project days!
