Today we played with exploding chalk and character creations.
Ah, good old baking soda and vinegar. Using this page for inspiration, we put 1/4 c cornstarch, 1/4c vinegar, and food dye in a snack sized ziplock bag. Then, right before explosion time, we dumped in a tablespoon of baking soda and zipped the bag back up quick. Big hit with the kids.

Bubble princesses.
Man, it is hard just going for it. Apparently I really depend on rough sketches and control Z! But there is something pretty fun about trying something different too.
My boys could not handle the fact that these princesses had no faces. They fixed that right after I took my picture.
