Animals with Verbs! Dog with ‘toss’.
I’m feeling a little wistful right now. I have one more post ready for Animals with Verbs! that I’ll post on Monday. Then, since I have 6 young beings dependant upon me for education, I feel like I should shift my focus a bit to helping them get ahead in the world.
But I’ve had a lot of fun.
I’ve learned A LOT.
I studied animals.
I pushed beyond my sketches.
I picked colours.
I practiced adding shadows.
I played with gestures.
And backgrounds! I started drawing backgrounds!
I learned to face my fears of not being good enough, and put my stuff out there for other people to see.
It’s been good.
I hope to keep learning, and maybe post these little pics once a week (I have some workforce foxes all sketched up already 😉 ). But I might start playing around with different mediums that let me involve my kids more in my learning journey.
It’s going to be great!
